Pakistan outsourcing cost benchmarks, 2026

What US, UK and Australian businesses actually pay per role when outsourcing to Pakistan through an agency, and how it compares to hiring the same role locally.

Reviewing outsourcing cost benchmarks

Rates for outsourcing to Pakistan vary widely depending on who's quoting them — freelance marketplaces show hourly numbers that look cheap but hide real costs, while some agencies quote all-in rates that already bundle everything. Below is a role-by-role breakdown of what a properly structured, all-inclusive dedicated hire actually costs in 2026, and what that's being compared against.

Why the flat monthly rate matters more than the hourly number

An hourly wage figure on its own is close to meaningless for planning purposes, because it almost never includes the employer's side of payroll tax, HR administration, a managed workstation, backup power and internet, or day-to-day supervision. A flat monthly rate that's genuinely all-inclusive is the only number worth comparing across providers — it's what actually lands on your invoice, with nothing added later.

Role-by-role benchmarks (all-inclusive monthly rate)

All of the above are quoted as a single flat rate covering salary, HR, payroll taxes, workstation, equipment and supervision — no setup fee, no deposit, monthly rolling agreement. See the full pricing page for current rates by role.

What it's being compared against

The comparison that actually matters isn't Pakistan versus another outsourcing destination — it's outsourcing versus hiring the same role in-house domestically. A US-based admin assistant, for example, commonly runs $4,500+ per month once base salary, payroll taxes, benefits, software licenses and a share of office overhead are added in. A dedicated, fully managed offshore hire covering the same role runs at roughly 60% of a full-time domestic rate, once the all-inclusive nature of the offshore rate is accounted for.

What moves the number for a specific role

Within a role category, the rate can move based on: seniority and specialization required, the amount of direct client-facing communication involved, and how much of the working day needs to overlap with a specific time zone outside a standard 9-to-5. A role requiring deep UK-hours overlap, for instance, is priced differently from one that only needs a few hours of daily overlap.

The bottom line

When comparing quotes, ask for the fully-loaded monthly rate, not an hourly number — and confirm what's actually included (payroll taxes, equipment, supervision, backup infrastructure) before comparing it to anything else. That's the only comparison that reflects what you'll actually pay.
